Year 7 Camp

At Edenbrook we value the benefit that a camp program offers to students in the building of relationships with staff and each other.

The Year 7 Orientation Camp takes place at Anglesea Recreation Camp in early February and is 3 days in duration. Building confidence, connections and relationships is a vital part of the transition process and the year 7 orientation camp aims to facilitate this. Students and teachers can get to know each other in an outdoor setting away from the school routine.

There are a range of activities on offer that test and develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, as well as ones that are pure fun. This includes beach games, ropes courses, canoeing, giant swing, climbing courses and a range of other initiative games and activities.
All students are encouraged to attend as the camp assists with the transition from primary school into secondary school. In the case of extenuating circumstances preventing participation, please contact Ainslie Waters, Assistant Principal.
