Camps

At Edenbrook we value the benefit that a camp program offers to students in the building of relationships with staff and each other.

Year 7 Camp

The Year 7 Orientation Camp takes place at Anglesea Recreation Camp in early February and is 3 days in duration. Building confidence, connections and relationships is a vital part of the transition process and the year 7 orientation camp aims to facilitate this. Students and teachers can get to know each other in an outdoor setting away from the school routine.

There are a range of activities on offer that test develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, as well as ones that are pure fun. This includes beach games, ropes courses, canoeing, giant swing, climbing courses and a range of other initiative games and activities.
All students are encouraged to attend as the camp assists with the transition from primary school into secondary school. In the case of extenuating circumstances preventing participation, please contact Mr Daniel Webber, Assistant Principal

Year 8 Camp

The Year 8 camp takes place in early December at The Summit Camp, Trafalgar. The 3-day camp immerses students in a range of outdoor adventure activities designed to strengthen confidence, trust, respect, cooperation, relationships, and goal setting within the cohort as they transition into middle school.

This centre is a well renowned Adventure Park that will provide opportunities for students to participate in initiative and survivor style bush challenges, laser skirmish, flying fox, climbing, abseiling, drop slides and a wide range of other activities.

All students are encouraged to attend as the camp assists with the transition from junior to middle secondary school. In the case of extenuating circumstances preventing participation, please contact Mr Daniel Webber, Assistant Principal
